TF bracing question

I'm almost certain this is fine but want to ask anyway, since I'm out of town at my dad's and didn't bring my manual... shame on me for not sticking it back in the compartment on the seat!

I had originally installed it w/out a noodle, and it was pretty upright. I think maybe too upright. Tonight I used half of a noodle (sliced lengthwise) to recline it just a bit... moreso to reach the harness adjuster than to change the recline angle. However, I can't move my passenger seat ANY more forward, so it's braced pretty tightly against the seat. Is that okay? I can still get my hand in there if I wiggle the top of the car seat up a bit.

Hmm. I didn't try moving the front seat after I installed it to see if the car seat reclines more. Hopefully the front seat isn't pushing it more upright... if that makes sense. I'm pretty sure it's not but I will run out and check.
