Coccoro vs. Roundabout shell height

I thought I saw the measurements once, but now I can't find them. Am I crazy, or am I just awful at searching?

Anyway, can anyone compare the Coccoro shell height to the Roundabout?
I snapped this pic of my DD in a RA installed RF on the BRU test bench. I can't find a Coccoro IRL to compare. Do you think she would fit?
(I'm not crazy enough to buy a CC for my 18 month old DD. I have a new baby on the way and if DD can RF in it, then I think DH will let me buy it now. ;))

My 2.5 year old has about 1" exactly left in the Roundabout and 1.5" left in the Coccoro, although neither were checked installed. So I honestly don't think you'd be able to RF her in the Coccoro...however it'd be perfect for the new baby ;)

Thought I add to the question, if that is okay? Same car seats for comparison.

When installed, does the Coccoro sit lower on the seat than the RA? It appears to have a shorter base?

Thanks

Yes, the Cocorro sits quite a bit lower than the RA and the seat it more "scooped" so it has more RFing room for sure. Here are my pics. DS is 26 months and right at outgrowing the RA FFing. He was 27 lbs 2 months ago, but I know he's gained and that was after being really sick for a week, he was around 29 before. Some are installed and some are not, but you should be able to tell which are which.
Pictures are worth 1000 words...

The seats are the same height overall, but the Cocorro has more child room since it doesn't have the tall base. Measurements may or may not be accurate since the insides are shaped so much different. I say most kids will have at least and inch more RFing room in the Cocorro. My 5 yr old almost fits FFing and she's 44" and 44 lbs. (Over limits, for sure!)

skipspin - THANK YOU!

Your pictures are great! Also, in your signature pic is that a RF RA and RF Coccoro in the outboard seats? If so, that is a great comparison of where the shell height is different once installed.

Which seat do you prefer and why? I'm truly contemplating purchasing two Coccoro's and selling my brand new MA's. I NEED a seat I can see over when it is rear facing. Again, thank you for the pictures!!!

Eh, the seats are both nice for different reasons. If I was buying a seat to use for a newborn and wated it to last longer and fit better in smaller vehicles or three-across the Cocorro would win. If I wanted a seat to use from about 6-24 months, then 30-40# ffing I'd go for the RA- especially if I had multipe kiddos that would end up using it. Budget-wise or for having the only one seat the Cocorro is better. The RA is just SO nice. I like it even though it's not the most practical seat. Thankfully I have short kiddos so it lasts them longer than most.

Just guessing here, but judging by how my 5.5 yr old fits (or doesn't fit) in the Cocorro I'm guessing it would last about as long height-wise FFing as a MA, but obviously only to 40#s. Rfing not quite as long.

Yes, I have Rfing RA, Radian, RFing Cocorro in my Jeep. The RA is more upright, probably about 30'.
