My neighbor keeps her great-nephew all the time. He is 3 weeks older than Max so he is 20 months right now. Well, she was over a bit ago and asked me if her great-nephew was old enough to be in a booster. I picked my jaw up off the floor and told her absolutely not. She said she didn't think so, but that her sister (the boy's grandma, who he lives with) had bought him a booster and been using it. Her sister told her he really liked it.

Eek! It would indeed be very difficult for me not to say something like . . . "So what! When did TODDLERS become responsible for their own life or death decisions?" Hooey, I would need to take a few moments for lots of deep breaths.... Or, a better solution, depending on the state's law, I might just suggest she call the police when she sees the poor baby in a big kid seat.

No kidding! I feel like he should be about 6 months old. He'll be 20 months on the 14th. He runs and climbs and talks and it just breaks my heart.
