Which minvan to choose..

Or which not to? We are going tomorrow to pick out a new vehicle. I had my heart set on a Sienna, but that's not going to happen. So basically, we just have to go with what we can get financed. We are going to a Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealer. I will ask about a Honda Odyssey as I've heard it's a good one. But what else should we consider, particularly in the Chrysler or dodge family. What vans should we absolutely avoid? We have 3 kiddos right now. Possibly another down the line. I sometimes have other children in the car, so I'd like as many anchors as possible. Can anyone fill me in on the best choices for carseats? Gettign 3 in the back row the best? Thanks a lot.

Consider the Korean minivans as well. If you have probs getting financing for the Sienna, you'll likely have the same problems with the Odyssey. Are you buying new? The really bad minivans aren't on the market anymore.

If you are looking for a used van, Mazda MPVs between 2000 and 2004 are quite inexpensive (3,400 or so up).

For a brand new van, I've read fantastic reviews of Kia Sedona's & Hyundai Entourages. They don't have good resale value, like Toyota and Honda, so in my area you can find 2007 and 2008s starting at 13,900.
