I think I'm looking for some voices of reason...
I have always been a little "uneasy" about infant seats, for no real reason that I know of. I just always envision them popping off the base in a serious collision.
Before I ever knew this site existed, I have had this fear. I had moved my DS to a convertible at 4 months old, and DD by 5 months.
Shortly, I will have three very young kids. DS will be starting preschool in Sept (5 days per week) and I can't imagine picking up / dropping off everyday with all 3 of them and not using a bucket for the baby.
Needing 3 across does NOT help. Are infant seats crash tested with another seat installed right up against it? I just imagine one car seat smashing into the infant seat and "hasta la vista" baby, KWIM?
Am I crazy?
I am looking foward to reading the replies.
