So I noticed this today while I was driving around.

I only moved those straps up a short time ago. At her 5th birthday she was still below second from top the slots (almost 7 months ago.).

I measured her torso and got a hair under 18". I thought the Regent went to 20"? Mine is post-advisory so I can't get it more upright. I tried before the pic. And to verify growth I put her in the XT which she fit in when we got it but now her shoulders are in with the headwings, making her squished.

Anyway, with that kind of growth do you think she'll make it to six, if barely? I think it is good thing I told her she could have a booster at six because we may not have much choice!

My son outgrew his Regent around his 5th birthday. He only had about an 18 1/2" torso at the time. With the recline bar I would lose that 1 1/2 inches.

Then here is to hoping all the new boosters are out and tested here before she out grows it. I'm going to need a TALL one :D

Yeeeaaaaah. I forsee a Frontier bought solely for booster mode in your future!

I am not unfamiliar with the long-torsoed children. :grumble:

Isn't the Frontier good for nine years or is that only for the booster mode?

If so, then DD1 can use it for 1.5 yrs (the longest she has had ANY seat before out growing) then DD2 can use the harness until she is like 10

The Frontier expires 9 years from the date of manufacture and there's no distinction between the Frontier's expiration for harnessed mode vs. belt positioning booster mode. :)
