Another more expensive option to the Snugride 32... more color choices and it looks sooo comfy too. The stroller options are nice as well.. when price is no object I will get all the options :D

Does anyone know more about it?

I've only ever known it as the Teutonia 32 seat... I guess now it's the T-Tario? Either way, they've been around for a few yrs now, and the cover choices are lovely.

The T-Tario also has a bit more padding and the fabric is rated UV 50+. The one selling point for the Teutonia for our customers has definitely been the fabrics. Customers are definitely digging the solid colors. Something you won't find with the Snugride 32.

Well, I hate to bring an old thread back to life, but I hadn't seen much talk of this particular car seat on the boards. As a father to be, I feel a little awkward posting on a female dominated site, but hey, when it comes to safety and questions regarding seats, where better to come. So be gentle with me.

We recently were doing the infant seat shopping and have decided on the Snugride 32. While there, we noticed these and prefer the color patterns available. I know, extra money only for color as it appears these are almost identical seats. I also noticed the fabrics to be different, but haven't been able to find a review really from a consistant number of people on their thoughts on this.

Can anyone give their opinion on this seat now that it has been out for a longer period of time?

TIA

I still don't think anyone here has bought one (or if they have, they haven't raved about it). I saw one the other day and the fabric did seemed considerably softer than the canvas-like nylon they like to use on the SR32, though.
And join us, we do like a little male perspective :)

I purchased one over a week ago through Albee Baby (free shipping :)) but the T-Tario32 seats are currently on back order for a couple of weeks. I ordered the venetian red color, as I've seen it in person in a few stores.

I'm also a father-to-be but took the initiative to order the infant carrier since I really liked the construction (same as SR32), design, colors, fabric, and comfort of the seat. Hopefully I should be receiving it in another week or so, and then I can take pictures of it. But it's the same with the others I've seen in the stores already.

I love the idea of 50 SPF fabric in a car seat! I mean, I'm not a fan of baby sitting in the seat all the time, but here in SoCal, you can get a burn just riding in the car!

So, really the biggest difference to these seats, against the SR32, would be the cover patterns and sun protection?
Are they Graco stroller or base compatible?

Looks too expensive for me...but I don't know how we'd even afford a Wal-Mart discount infant seat right now...

They'd definitely fit the Graco strollers. I'm pretty sure they'd fit the Graco bases but you'd have to call Graco to make sure.

They do fit the Graco bases and the fabric is really so much nicer. Lullaby Lane in San Bruno sells both the Snugride 32 and the T-Tario and there is only about a $20-$30 price difference.

would the t-tario covers fit on a SS1/snugride 32? and has anybody looked to see how much the replacement covers would be?

From what I've seen personally, the base/shell is the same as the SR32 and it snaps into all compatible Graco products, even into our UppaBaby Vista stroller adapter for Graco seat, and also into the Bugaboo Graco seat adapter that I tested out in the store.

The price difference was anywhere from $30 - $50 difference between SR32 and TT32 seats (if you chose a "good" cover on the SR32), but the way the padding and cover was laid out on the TT32 shell really made the difference in comfort IMO. Not sure if the covers are swappable, but if you swap everything from the shells (padding, covers) then maybe. But by the time you find a SR32 seat and a spare TT32 cover & padding, you might have saved time & money just getting the TT32 seat.

I see there has been a little more activity on this thread recently. Thats good news to me. Anyone have it in their hand here who hasn't come back to post about it? I can't imagine there are more important things to worry about! :)
