I am taking our Phil and Ted Sport double to Florida. We will be flying with the stroller and was wondering if I should buy the travel bag or not. Does anyone have any experience flying with this stroller? Thanks

I would say yes.
I flew with mine on NWA and they trashed it. I was super nervous about it because mine didn't have a latch on it to keep it closed (it was actually an e3v1) and so my DH & I bungieed the heck out of it and wrapped it in a plastic bag. Didn't matter...they must have piled about 1000lb of crap on top of it and it totally destroyed the fabrics on the main seat, and possibly bent the frame as well.

Make sure that you gate check it, rather than checking it with your luggage. They are far less likely to have your stroller damaged this way.
