Combi Twin savvy with infant carseat

I am selling my combi twin and someone asked me about the combatability with the infant seats. I know in the newer models of the combi twin savvy EX it accepts a combi connection seat ONLY. I called Combi and they said it isn't a bar attachment or anything to hold the infant seat. They said the shape of the carseat just sits right into one side of the stroller. They said that there are some sort of straps on the stroller itself to hold the infant carrier, but really the shape of the seat alone sits into the stroller the straps just make it secure. Have any of you put a combi connection seat into the older combi twin ex? I have the 7035 model which we purchased in 2004.
