To Combi, does the Coccoro use the 1 inch rule for RF? That came up in another thread and I'm curious. :)

To IMMI (if they're there), any hope of someone else picking up the SafeGuard designs and marketing them so we don't lose the last non SN seat with taller top slots than the Nauti/Frontier?

I just poked at you in the techie forum :)p)

I want to know when the XS & XL Ride Safer Travel Vests will be coming out -- it is now 2 years since they told me "soon" & I've got rural pedestrian families who could really use 'em!

Someone do me a favor & put pressure on Britax to figure out how to add flexible LATCH to the Laptop & bring it back

I want combination and/or especially booster: seat depths, wing depths, shoulder heights, shoulder & hip widths interior & exterior, plus transportability (don't forget LATCHability + comfort)

Of course I want pictures, too, pretty please :D

Mostly, I look forward to downloading the presentations from the website afterwards! Bummed to miss it again this year, hopefully next year....

Oh, also, FF foot props . . . what's the word???

HAVE SO MUCH FUN

Ask anyone and everyone about getting a seat with greater than 35 lbs rearfacing on the market.

Except Graco, ask them if they would pretty please redesign the cozy cline as a convertible 35/50 seat.

Another one for Britax: can we have some cute boy prints? Like, girls have flowers, can boys have something cute like cars or zoo animals or something?

What's up with SAFETEA and the side impact testing that should be (is?) in place? How do the Scenera and HBB somehow manage to escape labeling for SIP and are their shells just so flimsy that they are soft enough to not need EPS/EPP foam to meet that requirement? (Ok, that's my guessing...just ask a nice open ended question )

Got something to share, ketchup?
I wish.

I was considering buying a seat for my nephew so maybe I could get him put back RF last year, but there were none I could think his mom would like, she's really into appearances. Also I bought one for my cousin's son and the only one from Britax that was even in the running was Cowmoo. (He ended up with an XT in Rio, his and his mom's choice.) I was just struck by the contrast compared to the choices when buying seats for my nieces, and not in a good way!

yes, that's my question too. I've emailed the rep. I'll update if I get a response. Their infant seats say even with the top of the shell, so I'm really interested to hear what she has to say. It also came up in that thread to ask whether it will make it to Canada.

Thanks for thinking of us who can't go. I know you'll take awesome notes. :)

Why can't they just have one long strap that goes over the beltpath with latch on each end? It could be permanently attached there and just let the seat belt go over it for seat belt install. Right?

:yeahthat: But go ahead and ask Graco too, you never know!

Well...I'm trying to be realistic here :ROTFLMAO:

They're the only company on the market with an infant seat that has a higher weight limit than their only convertible :ROTFLMAO:

I know Britax does not have weight limits on boosters: will any of the other manufacturers officially okay using boosters, especially backless ones, over the stated limits? I've seen some pretty short kids topping #100 lately.

Yeah, considering the rising obesity crisis I don't think it's fearmongering to say that many, many kids who can't ride safely without a booster are well over the weight limit for them.

Don't forget SK Monterey and Clek have both approved their weight limits to 120.

I'd like to see the Combi Dakota go over 100 as well. It's such a nice wide booster it will accomodate heavy children well.

I haven't forgotten, but those are pricey and it's hard enough to get parents to put their short heavy kids in boosters at all, let alone $80 and up boosters!

True dat.

The Cosco Ambassador is a bare bones, check station friendly, larger backless that would do well with an increased weight limit.

Be sure to prod for any new hwh seats possibly coming down the line......With the frontier, nauti and apex each having at least one serious issue/strike against it, and the regent and SG going bye-bye, it would be nice if somebody had something new and great coming soon for the larger harnessed crowd!!!!!!

I'd like to see some wider boosters. Even if it was just low backs. Something for the hippier kids. I watched a 9 year old who was a bit too wide in the hips for anything other then the Prospect and there was no way I was going to pay $100 for him a booster.

I think if you are going to rate them over 100 pounds then kids who weigh over 100 pounds should actually FIT in them. I can't see a 100 pound kid fitting in the hip area of most of the boosters on the market right now.

Also, longer leg support would be GREAT! I have kids with no butts but SUPER long thighs. They run out of leg support FAST! At only 3 years old Jacob is no longer comfortable in his BLVD because there is almost no soppot for his legs.

Again, if the seats are going to go to 120 pounds then they need to fit kids that meet that weight. With Booster ages going up to 8 years old I see very few boosters that actually fit an AVERAGE 8 year old comfortably. And I mean Average and I mean Comfortable! Not the 46 pound 8 year old who is just outgrowing the ETA. And not the 65-70 pound 8 year old who is squashed into the turbo booster...

I thought it was going to be the Monterey but even the bigger (older) kids I've seen in that look a like they are squishing out of the seat.

I guess really what I'd like to see is a bigger booster. One that WON'T fit the average 4 year old. Sorta like how the Regent doesn't fit the average 1 year old... Not every seat has to fit every child...
