Wiggly/loose buckles?

I just washed our husky and I rinsed out the crotch buckle because DS had a sick stomach. I didnt soak it I just ran some water through it to make sure it was clean. Now it seems like the buckle is a little looser than before. They buckle in and I can't pull them out but they wiggle a good bit side to side, more than I remember but maybe Ive just not noticed?
I just wanted to double check on if I should contact britax about a new part or something?

You should call Britax customer service and ask them. Explain to them that you had to rinse the buckle out and that it seems loose now, and see what they say. You can always order a replacement if you need to. The manual says that you can rinse the buckle to remove crumbs & anything that has been spilled, etc., and you can even soak it overnight, so it should be fine. It also says that as long as you can hear a click when you buckle it that it is fine.

You know, it could be you had something gunked in there that was making it stiff before, and rinsing it out returned it to its normal state. As long as you are hearing the second click and the harness isn't releasing, I think you are ok.

I agree with Tam. I had an old seat I cleaned and that seemed to be the issue, but I would still call Britax to be on the safe side.
