A whole lot of girly colors (MA pics)

My new (manufactured last Tuesday!) Marathon just arrived a little bit ago.

Wow, the box was beat to hell.

So, I'm not keeping the Mariposa cover. It's gorgeous. I love the texture and colors. However, my kids eat in the car sometimes. We also live in Wisconsin. Lots of wet shoes and mud. So I don't think it would stay pretty for long.

The seat with the Dragonfly cover is being thrown away after I send the straps to Britax. The new seat is a replacement for the other one. The harness adjuster started squeaking badly and then starting sticking too.

I LOVE the double click harness on the new one. One question though, I can't find the D-Ring. Where is it?

Really you're going to throw them both away? Why not sell the cover and donate the broken seat to a tech instructor to use as a demo seat in classes.

No, I'm keeping the dragonfly cover. I would never throw that away. I'm trading the Mariposa cover that came on the new seat with another member for a more gender neutral cover, and so I have a back up.

There's going to be nothing left on the seat. They want all the straps back including the TT, LA, harness adjuster, and buckle retainer. I'm keeping the EPS and comfort foam as back ups and I'm waiting for a call back to see if I can keep the buckle and HUGS.

So I suppose, if someone wants a seat shell, they can have it. There will be no top tether, LA or straps of any kind though. No EPS foam and the left top and rear lock offs are broken.
