How much growth left in Safeseat?

How much time do you think we have left? She is 4 months old, about 14 lbs, I am not sure on length.

Do you think that she will make it to a year?

Wow. That baby has one ginormously long torso

I don't think she'll make it to a year, but maybe.

Whoa, that looks like one long torsoed 4 month old! My 11.5 mos old fits his SNUGRIDE exactly like that! But maybe she's a spurt-er and the legs will grow next, you really never know. I'd bet on needing a convertible to RF eventually though, I highly doubt she'd make it past a year.

I don't think she'll make it to a year, but you never know. My son fit like that at four months as well... he outgrew it at 7.5 months... :)

Yeah, I don't think she will make it to a year either, but one can hope. I am just trying to guess how long her mom has to save for a convertible. I already switched her to the Marathon in my car.

Her legs are equally as long, she fits in some 3-6 month tops, but its mostly 6-9. And her pants are all 6-9 months. And forget sleepers, she has already outgrown 6-9 month sleepers in the legs, but she swims in the 9-12 month everywhere except the legs. It is interesting to dress her, to say the least.

I have a baby who is half torso-- born at 20.5 inches with a 10 inch torso. Now 30+ inches at 11 months, with a 15+ inch torso.

Yeah, we have fun dressing her too! I agree with the others, she's not going to make it to a year.

I suggest you look into a Radian or a True Fit, you're going to need the tall shell to keep her RF as long as possible!

My DD had the same SS1 and she fit the same way. I swapped the cover and GracoPedic foam for a cover without the GracoPedic and its alot better. She still fits with 2-3 inches over her head.
