Rear facing head slump

Just installed a new Scenera (rf of course) for my 7 1/2 month old daughter, and will soon be putting a Marathon in my wife's car. I got a nice tight install, though I am thinking I might need to redo to get a better angle. I know that 45 degrees is not a necessity at this point, but my daughter has a tendency to let her head fall forward while sleeping. She did this even in her Snugride at 45 degrees. Her harness is always plenty tight, and though we try to reposition her, she often ends up slumped again.

I know that this is not ideal, and upon thinking more I will almost surely try to get these new seats closer to 45 degrees. However, it is likely that she will continue to slump regardless. Any thoughts about the best angle for this age and/or fixes for "the slump?"

Thanks!

Shoot for 35-40 degrees, and sometimes putting a rolled up towel beside their head helps slightly, though it's more for preventing that newborn "ear on the shoulder" pose.

One other thing I have heard mentioned, though the other techs would need to chime in on it, is using a child-sized neck pillow backwards on her when she falls asleep. That'll help keep her head upright.

I would have no issues with using one of those little "U"-shaped pillows backwards (curved side under the chin) to prevent the head slump in a seat properly positioned.
