Burley or Wike for jogger?

I checked out the BOBs at REI today and DS1 (5-y-o and 43") is just too big. I know he *may* fit in an older BOB or BJ, but I am not sure how easy it would be to find one. I have been checking my CL and ebay and haven't seen any good options yet. Ebay would be hard anyway b/c I would want to try DS out in it 1st. So - how are the Burley trailers when used as joggers? There are a couple of used ones on ebay right now, and my guess is DS1 would fit better in a trailer than in a stroller. And Rockafella (sp?) I know you like your Wike as a jogger. Anyone else use one? I'm getting desperate here...

We also have a Wike, I love it. I can't say that I've done a decent amount of actual running with it but we've used it as a "off road" stroller for years now and it works well. DD1 is 6, average height, but thin, and both the girls still can ride in it easily. I really like the large amount of floor/feet space that the design allows for, the girls actually call it their boat, LOL. Wikes are very well made, we've had ours for 3 years now and have never had a single issue with it and it gets used almost daily in warmer months. I tested out a couple Burleys before another mom let me play with her Wike and I preferred the Wike.

I do love my Wike. I personally don't jog anymore but did prior to having kids. I think the Wike would be great to jog with, its very smooth to push even with my kids in it (DS#1, almost 4, 34 pounds, 39 1/4 inches and DS#2, 1 1/2, 27 pounds), DS#1 is pretty lean and mean but he has tons of room in the Wike and if he doesn't feel like sitting next to his brother there's enough room for him to sit on the floor too (I've even heard of others putting 3 kids in it). There's little pockets inside to hold toys and drinks and snacks to keep them occupied. When DS#1 was 2 1/2 we took him to our local bike shop to test out a Chariot and he already looked squished in it. I don't know about the Burley or Kelty sorry, I never did try those in person. I know I did alot of reading before I bought ours and the Wike was the best for tall and older kids, I'd read reviews and it always seemed that people would first buy a Chariot and then sell it and end up buying a Wike later cause their kids outgrew the other. If your in the Fraser Valley and want to come try mine out you are more than welcome. There are 2 things I didn't like about the Wike:
1. No hand brake - I would have liked that so I could take it rollerblading (but for me that wouldn't be that frequently anyways so its not that huge a deal); and
2. That I couldn't try it out before I bought it, it's kinda a big expensive purchase without going and trying it in real - but it was an awesome purchase and I think we will get lots of years of use out of it and then hopefully still be able to sell it for a good price as it is really great quality.
