Maclaren XT or XLR? Questions

Is the XT basically the same as the XLR? I see they hold different weights, but is the frame basically the same? Is it bigger than the Quest and Triumph? I am just wanting something a little more heavier duty than those two. But I want to see if I can get away with just the XT for a toddler.

Help.

it's lighter, the seat is actually taller, but sits lower on the frame, and it's narrower.

not by a lot, though.

Definitely go with the XT over the XLR. The big difference would be carseat compatibility, but that's not really a big deal to me.

almost everyone prefers the XT over the XLR because of the lighter weight and better seat height.

I have a techno classic and love it. I can push my 46.5 pound DS with one hand while carrying my 18 pound DD with the other hand. I am so glad I spent the money on the stroller. I didn't like the quest or the triumph because I kicked the folding mechanism with almost every step I took. It drove me crazy especially since I owned a baby trend eurotrend and never kicked the mechanism when I took a step.
