We turned her. Sigh.

Sanna asked for the third time to face forward. So, I switched the Marathon for her, and then we went to Trader Joe's. She loved it. I feel ambivalent.

She's almost 38 months and (according to daycare) 29 pounds fully clothed with shoes.

On the plus side, she's in the middle, and Karl is on the passenger side, so she can reach him and I have a free seat.

While's she's kinda light still, at least you made it past 3 yrs old. Kudos for that. I know it's bittersweet, but I think you should be proud.

You did awesome, don't feel bad about it. I may have a slightly distorted view from having seats limited to 30lbs for so long, but I think you've done wonderful to keep her rf'ing past 3 and to 30lbs.

You've gotten her through the most critical point. Give yourself a pat on the back and go forward.

You did wonderfully. My two year old has been FF since the week before her 2nd birthday-- when she hit 34.5 lbs. and I was having a baby in a week and knew I wasn't going to have the energy to turn her in another couple of weeks. Just be glad she's not a chunker!

Where oh where do you people get these wee children? I want to order one lol.

My 3.5 yo (4 in July) is 39 lbs. I had to turn him FF when he turned two (Britax @ 33 lbs). I really wish the US had some higher weight seats for RF. /whining

Congrats on making it past 3 yo RF!!

Sounds good! No need to keep her RFing any more when it is obvious she has an opinion on it. She's still super safe, especially since you moved her to the middle! And you can take passengers, and she can hand Karl things. Or poke him in the eye...
