On average how long does it take to to get in to get your seat installed/looked at by a tech?

My friend who turned her baby at 25 lbs 8 mos. (almost a year old now) has agreed to see a tech after I gave her info the Jenny and some others peeps found for me.So that's a good thing.
y'all r so helpful thanks.

Well I guess it varies seem the average is about a week. I live around the cincy, oh area have like 2 tech in the immediate area where she lives okay, do we go to them can they come to us? Also her leg is sort of messed up from having the baby, will they still make her do the install?

Depends on the tech and their schedule. When Scatterbunny and I were scheduling appointments, we usually could see them in the next week.

I would see them as soon as our schedules allow (mine and the parent's), which could possibly be the next day. THe woman I work with only schedules for weekends, but can 99% of the time schedule you for the weekend coming up. Only emergencies are scheduled during the week.

I typically try to schedule them within the week, on a day with fairly nice weather when my kids are out of the way.

It really depends on the resources/demand in your area.

The company I work for can usually see people within a few days, but we charge.

For free checks with various agencies, it's not usual to have a wait of 4-6 weeks.

It's only me in our county complex checking them, and I'm half time, so it might be the same day if I'm in and it's slow and you're available, but usually it's within a week. Although it's not terribly uncommon for it to be two or three weeks if I'm really busy and/or out at trainings, etc. I also keep a tech list of all the techs in our county, and I refer out if I can't easily fit into their schedule (ie, they need a Friday, etc.) or if they just want someone closer to them.
