Graco Nautilus Elite vs. Graco Nautilus

Hey Everybody.

It appears that the Graco Nautilus ELITE
my be hitting the shelves this April.
Has anyone been able to gather any
valuable information on this seat?
And how it may differ from the original Nautilus
other than price?

My DW and I were looking at getting the Nautilus
for our DS. He is pushing the envelope on his
Britax Blvd RF. He is 27 mos 37lbs and his head
is even with the top.

Thanks ahead of time.

Sorry, did you mean he is forward facing in in his Boulevard? At 37lbs he has outgrown the seat rear facing by weight, and if his head is even with the top, he has outgrown it rear facing by height. Please clarify. If he is in fact rear facing in the Boulevard with those stats, he needs to be turned forward facing before he takes even one more trip in the car.

As written above, he's not "pushing the envelope", he's burst through it. The seat is outgrown by both height and weight rear-facing. He should be fine forward-facing, though, so you need to turn the seat around before he rides in it again. He'll have more than enough time in the Boulevard forward-facing for you to wait until the Nautilus Elite comes out and you can then decide which seat you want.

Whoa! Turn him FFing! He's outgrown that seat RFing.

If he doesn't fit good FFing (over top slots or something) than I'd just get whatever nautilus is available. :)

Thanks for the input everyone. You will be glad to know that he is now FFing.

Good to hear

To answer your original question, I haven't heard much about it, other than what a PP said. You've already Googled it, so you probably know as much as we do.
