Is this used carseat a little overpriced?

I don't think I'd pay more than $60 for it. Maybe you could offer less than what they're asking.

I'm not wanting to purchase the seat, I just thought maybe they were asking a little much.

It certainly seems like they are, especially since its used, and you can never be completely sure of the history of a used seat.

Ahhh, the beauty of Capitalism -- it's whatever the market will bear :D

Besides, rarely does one expect to get the exact asking price for something. There's bargaining to be done! Or at least that's been my experience selling at Euro Flea Markets & Stateside garage sales.
I bet he figures that someone will offer $50 for it and he'll settle for around $60. As an average person, non-expert in the ways of carseats, I'd think that was an acceptable purchase.
If there aren't any takers, he'll either drop the asking price or end up donating/giving it away. All he's out is time and whatever the listing costs.
