3rd row safety

So, I have a Regent and (soon-to-be) RF (for ERF) True Fit in my 07 Pilot (2d row). That, of course, leaves no room for anyone or anything to be in the middle. My ODS is now at the age where we have friends riding with us quite frequently (usually in boosters -- if their parents don't leave one with us, I use our spare). Would you put a 6 year old in a booster in the 3rd row of a Pilot? This is even more relevant as we're considering having #3 and ODS would then be in a booster (there's no way the Regent would fit in the 3rd row) back there on a regular basis. Ideas? Opinions? TIA!

I have no problems with my kids being in the third row. In fact, the center spot in a third row seat is likely to be somewhat safer than an outboard spot in the second row. That's because side impacts are more common and severe than rear ones. Even so, the differences are probably not very significant. Just having your kids properly restrained in any appropriate rear seating position is the main thing.

I have an 06 Pilot. I can put my regent in driver side and in the middle in the third row. The seat belt on passenger side 3rd row is not long enough to install the regent. I have also put in the third row, passenger side graco nautilus with regent drive side. I have a britax wizard 2ed row rf passenger side. this is how I set my car seats up when I transport our friend to and from preschool. I am able to fold down the 2ed row bench in order for the kids to get back to the 3rd row and me to buckel them in. When you put the regent in the 3rd row, you will need to move the 2ed row up or the regent rider will have no leg room.
