Question What are my chances of getting this part?

I have a 2004 MA that has one busted rf lock-off and another one that barely catches anymore. This is going in dh's car until it's time is up :(. I looked on Britax's site and it looks like they aren't available. I know they changed them because our '08 BLVD lock-offs are positioned better. His car doesn't have locking belts, is it alright to use the lock-off that still sort of works? If I pull the belt it pops right open. The other one doesn't catch at all. I know it's a pre-crash positioning device, but it still worries me. I do plan on calling Britax Monday to see what they say.

You should be able to order them over the phone (they may send them free if they are broken). I got some for free for my 2004 MA sometime last year.

I wouldn't trust a lockoff that "sort of" works. It's not acceptable to use a locking clip with a Britax, but it's also not acceptable to use a seat that is not functioning properly, so if I had to choose between two unacceptable options, I'd choose to use the locking clip.
