Mini Van drivers

I have a 2008 8 passenger Sienna. Why? Because I asked someone what van to get, and she said the 8 pass Sienna because it has 5 sets of LATCH  So, I got it. I really like it.

I *think* the 2 power sliding doors only comes with the 7 passenger XLE. But I do have 1 power door (passenger side) and it's great to have. When I only had 3 kids in there, I could fold the 3rd row flat into the trunk for more room. I don't really like that have to totally flip a 2nd row seat to get to the 3rd row. But if it was really an issue for us, we could just move the 2nd row seat all the way forward and have the kids climb in w/o moving the seat.

I needed AWD living in the mountains so we got the Sienna. I preferred how the Honda drove and felt better then the Sienna but had to have the AWD to make it home in the winter. It's an 06, bought it new and have been very pleased with it.

We had an 04 ody and loved it. Never gave us any trouble at all. It was a lease, and expensive for us, so we turned it in in November. I would have liked to purchase it.

We are now in the market for a used van and right now it is between a 00-01 ody, a 01-possibly 02 sienna, an 02-03 town and country and maybe an 04-05 grand caravan. I think we are leaning towards the sienna right now. (but, I will probably change my mind again...)

I have an '08 Town and Country Touring and absolutely love it. The big thing that drew me to it was the Stow-n-Go. I don't stow the seats, but I do use those very large under-floor bins to store all the kid stuff that used to clutter up my vehicle. Mine also has a rear entertainment system with the dvd player and option to plug in video game consoles (the electrical outlet is included), I think 13 cupholders, roll-down windows in the second row, side-curtain airbags, telescoping pedals, dual power sliding doors, power liftgate, two glove boxes, tons of storage compartments for everything.
