After looking at the AAA website, I wanted to know what mine said about car seats, so I looked.

All their car seat pictures are old- of now expired car seats. Their info makes it sound like you have to forward face at 20 pounds and age 1. They don't even mention there are seats that rear-face beyond 20 pounds. (Probably written before there were any!) It also makes it sound like you have to switch to a booster at 40 pounds or till your kid is too tall for their 40 pound harnessed seat. No mention of age or the fact that any seats harness longer. The booster info was pretty good though.
I wrote to them. Are most insurance companies out of date as well?
