This may get kinda rambly, but hear me out please.
I was just on the SK site and clicked the products tab and had this thought process.
I didn't realize SK makes all those things.

So then I got to thinking....
Sunshine Kids makes the Radian car seat. It's a nice, safe seat. You can buy a Radian 65 and use a Comfy-Soft and it's ok because it's still a SK product, right?
What about all the other SK products? We aren't supposed to use aftermarket products like mats under the seats, extra head inserts, and the Mighty-Tite. Or is it ok as long as you have a SK seat? Does it fall under the same ideology as the Comfy-Soft?
One could easily argue that since SK produces all these products, as long as you have an SK seat the aftermarket add ons should be fine as long as they too are produced by SK.
However, most here agree that these additions aren't safe. One could point out that the Comfy-Soft is used in the RN 80 and that's is the difference between it and the other products, but the argument is just as compelling the other direction for the average parent. Company makes car seat, car seat is safe; company makes add ons, add ons must be safe too.
Why would a company that goes to such great lengths to make Radian seats so safe market these other unsafe products?
I realize this may be a bit controversial. I'm honestly not trying to start anything or offend anyone. I'm just trying to figure this stuff out.
