Well, that was surprising

I installed the SS1 in our Prius and Pilot today.

My tiny Prius was a breeze, even outboard driver's side. I just had to move the driver's seat up one notch and make it slightly more upright.

The Pilot, on the other hand, was a PITA. The base installed no problem, of course, but the carrier wouldn't fit behind the driver without major adjustments. So I moved to passenger outboard, had to move the passenger seat up three clicks and make it super-upright.

I never thought I'd have a tougher time with the Pilot. Go figure.

No real point to this. Just rambling.

I found the same problem in our cars, passat and pilot. I found it a very easy install, but once you put the seat in, there is not much room for the front passenger with the infant seat behind you in the pilot. But in the passat, there is more room for the passenger. In the Passat, the seats slop more, in the pilot, they are flat.

my friend has a Prius.
When I put DD's seats in it, I was surprised how super easy it was.
I have a Honda (CRV), and have a slightly less easy time installing in it even though it's MY car, and I do it all the time.

Gotta love the Prius:love:

I was pleasantly surprised with how much space there was in the back seat when I test drove a Prius last summer. It was very spacious.

We see a lot of SUVs at our checkup events and they just aren't that roomy in the back seat.

Yeah, the Pilot's back seat is so wide, I guess I assumed it was deep, too. (We always had our RF seats installed in the center, so it wasn't an issue. Apparently I haven't done many installs in other people's Pilots, or else I might have noticed before!)

I do  my Prius, but we might be trading it for a minivan
