OMG!!! I got a MA for $120!!!!

I just got back from Costco and they had their MA's knocked down to $119.99!! DOM of 4-08. I whinned and begged and pleaded and DH finally said ok. We got it home and I had him help me install and he was so impressed with the ease of install and the rearfacing tether THAT HE SAID LET'S GET ONE FOR MY CAR TOO!!!!! Wow, I have the best DH!!
I can't believe how easy the MA was to install. Even with the rearfacing tether it took about 5 minutes tops. And I didn't need pool noodles either. I don't care for the cover (new denim) but jeez, for $120 I would have bought it if it was pink!!

They actually sell seats at your costco?? Lucky.. Even though ds would only have 1 slot left lol...

Ohhh lucky! I wonder if they have any at the Costcos around me. Is the rearfacing limit 33lbs or 35?

They switched to 35 lbs in March 08 (or maybe a little earlier). My 3/08 MA is a 35 lber.

We don't have a costco, and bj's only sells aoe's and a backless that something else, but I can't even remember what. I would get another marathon at that price for dh's car.

Cosctco has a very generous return policy... buy several, CL them for $160 or so (still a fab deal on a NIB MA) and turn a tidy profit. If they don't sell, return them.

I so thought about doing that!! There were only two left after I got two for us. I was really tempted but I would have had to borrow money to buy them and I didn't want to do that.

That is awesome! My costco had some a few months ago, they have also had AO, and I saw someone buying a safe seat 3 but couldn't find them in the store anywhere for sale.

Awesome deal! Our Costco has the Recaro Como and the old style AOE. If they carried the MA in store I would be on my way now to see if they had them on sale!

ours hqas them on occassion, but it's never consistent (and the store has only been open for maybe 5 months now!) i saw marathons there one of the first times we went, then nothing at all, then a couple of stray seats. but i haven't seen any seats the past couple of months. maybe they'll have more now...
