Question How much did your child weigh when he/she outgrew the RA RFing?

Oh, and I mean with the current "one inch" rule.

I'm curious since if DS keeps gaining weight and not much height he could possibly outgrow the RA by weight RFing, which I thought was about impossible. He weighed between 29-30#s last week and still has an inch above his head. Oh, and he does have a long-ish torso for his height, but he is pretty short. Just no tall genes around here to gather from.

I had two dc kids that used RA's RF in my car until about 2.5 or slightly older. They both outgrew by height tho.

Joy, you're so lucky that your ds can still fit it. I love the RA.

My kiddos are long but light, so the oldest dd outgrew the RA by height at around 2.5 yrs old. But hers was the Canadian 20 lbs rf limit at the time, so we turned her ff at around 18 mos as that was as long as I could comfortably push it. Had we left her rf in it as long as possible, she would have outgrown by height anyway at around 2.5 yrs old and would not be more than 25 lbs soaking wet :)

My ds has long torso to boot, so he was out first really by height, around 18-19 mos old. He would have only been around 21-22 lbs at the time. He is as tall as his older sister, but all torso and light as a feather.

This is a pic of them in the RA ff at almost 4 yrs old (in the checkered seat) and 2.25 yrs old (in the denim). So you can see the 1" rule for ff would have been way earlier than the this.

My #3 now is 18 mos, can still fit in it with room above the head, and only about 23 lbs. I have hope for her to fit in an RA longer than the other 2.

Well, looking at the pic of Leah, DS has a ways to go. I don't think he's close to that tall in the torso yet. I don't even know how tall he is...I guess I should measure him. I just know he's the shortest kid in the toddler nursery- even though there are kids 6 months younger than him in there- LOL.

Hm, my chunk might just make a new record!

Haha, your kids have all their weight in those adorable chubby cheeks. You're lucky to get as long as you are in the RA, the harness is SO easy to use!
