Is it a continuous harness? Is it hard to keep the shoulder straps even?

How wide is it? Just trying to figure out how to fit the greatest number of car eats in my car as possible.

It has a continuous harness. I don't have a problem with even shoulder straps, but I'm used to continuous harness seats and evening out the harness is not a big deal to me. It is 18.5 inches wide.

Thanks. :) Is it any narrower than the Marathon? That's what I'm used to and what I'd like to stick to, but if these will fit better, I'll try them.

How's the padding?

The marathon is on a base that is thin at the bottom. The avenue is 18.5 inches wide where the feet come down. It doesn't puzzle like a marathon does. I think there is less shoulder room in the avenue than the marathon, but didn't actually measure the marathon, so don't know. There is 9.5 inches of shoulder room just below the top slots. The padding is nice- not as cushy as a marathon, but way, way, way better than a scenera.

well i don't particularly like the continuous harness. i think they are a PITA. i can do ti but it takes me time to adjust the harness ALL THE TIME. i got rid of the scenera (continuous harness) as soon as i possibly could. LOL

it wouldn;t keep me from buying a seat with the continuous harness tho ONLY if i REALLY needed THAT seat to fullful my needs
