Would you use a Nautilus or Frontier in booster mode w/out LATCH?

They're such heavy seats and I'm concerned about the extra force that would be pushing on my child from behind especially compared to the lighter weight boosters out there.

Opinions?

Yes, I have. Just this week, actually. I haven't got LATCH in my car, so it's not an option.

Yeah, I would. It's not required. I figure, boosters in Europe have been heavy and unattached for a long time, surely if it were hurting kids, they would change the rules. But instead, we used to have a 9 pound limit for our US seats, and NHTSA doesn't enforce it, so I think that's proof that injuries aren't occurring due to heavier boosters.
