can you measure their torso for me? I'm contemplating doing my first blog and need to know where Elizabeth's falls in the range of normal.

My dd is 25 months and even with the second from bottom slots on the marathon - not sure of a measurement, but if that isn't helpful, I can try to measure her for you.

I'll do one a little better... not an exact measurement... but a pic of Ruthie at 2.5yrs in the same seat Elizabeth uses!

you can see what slots she's using and compare - she was probably closer to 2.75, but there you are.

and she's using the 3rd slots... at 3, she was going to need to move to the top slots

Jessica is 32 months old, about 36" tall with a 12.5" torso. Measurements were taken probably about 2 months ago.

DS2 is 26 mths and just over the 2nd slots of the MA. According to Britax, the 2nd slot is 12.25", so he's maybe 12.5".

The girl I babysit is 28 months (will be 2 1/2 in April) and is about even RF with the 3rd slots down in her MA. I don't have a height but she is about 30 lbs. Here is a pic, I can get a measurement this week if you want. It isn't the best picture because it is hard for me to get that angle in my Corolla, but I just moved her up a slot about 2 months ago.

DD will be 2 1/2 the last day of this month.

She is 27 lbs and 35" tall.

Torso is 12 3/4" if you mean butt to shoulders when seated. Is that right?

Riley is exactly 2 and 1/2. He's 36 inches tall, 36lbs, and has a 13.5 inch torso. He's in the 95th percentile for weight and 75th for height (among boys).

dd is 29 months, approaching 30, so almost exactly 2.5 years. she is the all-torso girl! she is just over 37" tall, 15.5" of it is torso, and 29 lbs. that was the measurement just a couple of days ago. she is on the next to top slots on the decathlon (rear facing) (other seat is a bv, so no real accurate way to say via slots where she is at in it. ;) )
