Speaking of cupholders, this is a good one for split seats

I got one of these at walmart in the auto department and never have seen it again, but it's fantastic! Our Escape bench has a 40/60 split so there's a place to stick this down safely, and it works great for kids in boosters, anyway, and maybe kids in lower harnessed seats like the Radian. It also fits in between my captain's chairs in the van when they are shoved together.

Anyway, I needed another one and am glad they are relatively inexpensive, and just wanted to share :) (I haven't really tested out various popular sippy cups in it, it definitely works for drive thru drinks, though...but I can test a funtainer and klean kanteen if anyone wants me to )

My backseat has it where you can actually fold down the center seat into an armrest, and it has 2 built-in cupholders..so we use those!

Maybe I'll look into that for my Jeep. I wonder if it will fit between the RN and Connection base? I'll have to try it out I guess. DD uses the cupholder by her feet, but obviously I have to hand it to her if we are driving since she can't reach it. Oh, and she gets dirt on the top of her cup if her feet are dirty. Yuck!

Do you think a child in a Marathon would be able to reach down far enough to use this?

Probably not, because it's pretty far down there almost at seat level (well, it is...the wedge part tucks into the seat, so the cup is basically 'on' the seat)...but *I* can reach it from the front to put cups and stuff in it, lol.

And just wait till her feet are so huge there's no room to even open that cupholder down there :D (our Ford has one like that...kinda useful, but mostly not...)

Actually it's stationary. :p By the time her feet are even close to it we won't likely have the Jeep. ;)
