Question Can someone check these straps for me?

We just picked up Colin's new car seat this weekend and I'm practicing adjusting the straps while he's in it. Does this look right?

I'm not sure about the chest clip. I have it level with his armpits but it still looks way too high to me.

You're looking for one finger to be snug when you check at the collar bone or that you can't pinch a horizontal fold in the harness. While you have 2 fingers in in the picture, I believe that it's tight enough.

As for the chest clip, it does look a little high. My trick with chest clip placement is to hold it so that an index finger extends on either side of the chest clip neat the top edge of it, then slide the chest clip until those fingers hit the armpits. So basically the top edge of the chest clip should be just slightly above his armpits and you're good.

Really? Where on earth did I hear 2 fingers?

I tried the finger trick and it looks way better now, still on the chest but not cutting off his air supply anymore.
