comfort sport at Sams Club

I was at Sam's club with my husband yesterday. I just happened to look at the car seats because they are by the diapers. They had a comfort sport there that only rear faced to 20 pounds. I couldn't believe that. Now I am worried about my comfort sport in DH's car. I will have to look at it next I am in his car.

I don't think the Comfortsport has ever only RFd to 20 lbs. It was probably just the ambiguous wording that actually means "When using with a child under 20 lbs., only use rear facing." (It probably said something like "Use rear-facing only with a child under 20 lbs.")

The language you read is actually the phrasing that's required by NHTSA and yep, it sure is confusing. I sure wish they'd update it.

Yes, it has to be what the PP said....the wordking is confusing, and what it means is that you MUST use the seta in the RFing position for a child under 20 pounds, it does not mean the seat only Rf's to 20 lbs..does that make sense?

I have one of the first Comfortsports and it RF to 33lbs. The wording is a bit confusing. The stickers say something along the lines of 5-20 RF, 20-33 RF or FF and 33-40 FF only.

it shouldn't say 33lbs, it should be 30... but I agree... all the comfortsports are new enough that they weren't made with anything less than a 30lb rf limit.

I thought my comfort sports rfed to 30 pounds but when I read that I was concerned. I really want to replace the one DD rides in but it doesn't expire until 2010 so it will stay for a little while. I just got a True fit for my car so she will stay in the CS in DH's car until I find a good deal or it expires.
