I had to replace a MA with a booster in a hurry the other day and was not looking forward to it. I had previously spent 15 minutes attaching the tether in the 2005 Ford Expedition, which is under the back of the seat and I had to almost stand on my head to do it. So I did NOT want to have to undo the tether for one afternoon.
I got the bright idea to loosen the tether strap, undo the Latch straps and flip the seat OVER the back of the second row into the cargo area. The third seat was flat (another reason it's so hard to reach the tether hook.) After flipping the MA back there, I hooked the Latch straps to the seatbelt back there (so it wouldn't be a projectile ) It was surprisingly easy. Now I just have to put it back the way it was before I have to pick up my grandson from preschool tomorrow. Hope it is as easy as undoing it!
