Graco Quattro Tour 2 Stroller?

What does anyone think of this stroller? I've never had a double.

I have the regular Quattro tour and have been very happy with it. But DD is only going to be 26 months when the new one comes along so I'm going to need a double. I have a SS1 that I will be using so I know it will fit this one and I can get the same color as my car seat and single stroller.

I drive a Suburban so there should be plenty of room for it in the cargo.

Any pros or cons?

Thanks. :)

I don't have any experience with it personally, but my sister has one and liked it - her only complaint is that it is very bulky (but I don't think you'll find a true double that isn't). I know that she was very happy with the way it steers and handles, and both her kids seem very very comfy in it.

I love mine, if you put it in the google search engine at the top of the page you should find lots of posts about it. We were just talking about it last week I think;)

I LOVE mine! It is heavy. But it's not that bad for a double! I wish I had a baby who liked to be in the stroller more so I would have an excuse to have it in my car all the time instead of just a single... It handles very well, kids are happy in it, there are lots of storage places and cupholders!

I have one and have been pleased. It's like the minivan of strollers. Tons of cup holders and convenience things. The biggest drawback is it's weight..39 lbs I think. It's big and bulky-but I don't think you'll find a tandem that isn't. Now that my kids are almost 2 & almost 4 it is getting harder to push. I notice pushing is a lot easier with the heavier child in the back. The stroller manual says to put them up front, but I haven't had a problem.

To do it all over again, I'd still buy it.

Sometimes you can pick them up very discounted. I think mine was $150ish from Albee baby.

try 50lbs.... it's big and bulky, and I wouldn't buy it for me.... I don't like bulky strollers other than double joggers... but for people who love their big bulkier full-featured full-sized singles, this and the kolcraft contours double are the best choices of the full-featured full-sized doubles.

When that basket, cupholders, and all that other stuff that those of us who prefer lightweight strollers don't need, are essential parts for you, then this is the way to go... either one is going to steer better than other front/back tandems and be very comfy for the kids.

Heck, if they could make a lite version of the quattro duo that only weighed 21lbs, you'd see me converting.

On graco's website it says it's 36lbs;)

I don't think it's that heavy for a double and yes I have a mac too so that's what I'm comparing it to. If you want a heavy duty stroller that's going to carry that much weight plus all the extras you need a heavy stroller.
