Question Recaro Como, stuff I need to know

I think I'm going to get the Como but there are a few things I have got to know first.

1: Does it have a continuous harness under the seat so the harness straps are sometimes different lenghts? This is what bugs me about the Titan so it's a major deal breaker with the Como.

2: Is the harness adjuster easy to access or is it buried against the seatback?

I'm leaning towards the Como because of price. I really want a Blvd but money wise, no go on that because of some unexpected expenses. My DS is really small and my DH was as a child so I think the Como will work for us.

Also, my DS doesn't quite fit above 10 inch slots yet , will he be okay in this seat? It looks like it has some infant padding.
TIA!!

Just so you know- a lot of people don't like the como for ERFing because kids legs can get squished. It might not matter if you have a small child, but if you want to RF to a full 35 lbs then it might be a problem.

It doesn't have the continuous harness, and the adjustor won't be buried in the vehicle seat.
Hopefully someone who owns a como can tell you then height of the bottom harness slots.

1. no continous harness. But getting the back panel off to change the height the first time takes some work :)

2. I LOVE the harness adjuster. It does not get buried and the end snaps to the cover and you loop the excess under a very accessible pocket.

3. The Harness heights are at 10", 12", 14", 16" and 18". The little hip bolster does not add much in the way of height though. The plus side to the infant padding is there is no weight limit like many car seats have,. My daughter still uses because she likes it :)

Thanks for your replies!!! That was what I needed to know about the Como and now I have one on the way from Albee Baby. I really hope I like it (and DS likes it)!
I think it'll be a good seat for DS, he's a tiny little thing so I don't think some of the drawbacks of the seat in regards to bigger kids will effect us. I just hope he can fit okay in the first set of slots!
