Should I sell my regent?

I did get the nautilus installed and we all love it. I still have the regent
installed in the 3rd row, I just haven't gotten around to getting it out yet. I don't know if I want to sell it or hang on to it. I really don't have any need for it, but I looked long and hard for that seat and I'm not sure I'm ready to part with it. I fits well in the Nautilus, he's moving to the top slots today since we noticed yesterday he is a touch above the ones below the top. With the rate that he grows he has a good 1.5-2 years before he will outgrow it. M doesn't fit in it anymore. I don't know if I should keep it for K or not. It's manufacture date is 11-27-06. She's pretty much all torso and just a smidgen away from being even with the 3rd slots on her marathon. If her torso doesn't slow down soon she's going to outgrow it rf'ing by height before her 3rd b-day.

I'd sell it. If you have seats you love, there is not reason to pack rat. (Says the girl who is working very hard to remove the extra seats from her garage.)

I would probably sell it. Your youngest is still pretty young and will hopefully be rearfacing for awhile yet.

K will be rf'ing until the marathon is outgrown, 33lbs or by height (I missed a 35lb marathon by about 1 week ). Ok, off to list the regent on craigslist. I didn't think it would be so hard to get rid of one seat!

I moved Charlie into a GN from a Regent, and have ordered a Frontier as well to replace the other Regent. I, too, didn't want to part with my Regents, just because they have no much... potential. But I realize that for most kids, it's overkill. So, one is gone and the other is on its way out.

You have a GN, he fits well, you like it... unless you want to hold it until the baby outgrows the MA, I say sell it. Mine were both new (less than a year old) and I sold one for $160 and the other probably $140 just to get rid of them.
I figure once Charlie outgrows the GN or FN, if he really still needs a harness, there will be something better.

It's going, but you're right about the potential thing. We bought it for M because he outgrew the marathon at just under 5 years old. We tried a booster for a while, but it didn't work so we bought the regent. I didn't think it was possible to become attached to a seat, but I do like it. Oh well, I think I like the $$ more.....since I'm the one who get to go out and spend it!! Since the GN and Frontier are out I don't really see us needing it.

it's a pre-advisory right? I'd be so tempted to buy it! I just love the pre, hate the post... I was thinking DNi would need a regent, but with her rounding up on 5 and still fitting in her marathon... she isn't going to need one.
You should list it here too, incase someone is looking for a pre...

(think really hard about it too... will you ever need a seat taller than the GN/frontier? Cause a pre is really the only other option right now, or possibly even the near future)

Yep, it's a pre-advisory. When that advisory came out I was so, so glad it didn't apply! I may list it here, but I would really like to sell it locally since shipping would be outrageous.

definitely pass it on... you can get K something else when the time comes... there are tons of options now that just weren't there a couple years ago.
