Has anyone tried to remove the cover on the Monterey yet? I tried to get the cover off the base tonight and I can't get the plastic tabs off for the life of me. Dang! I haven't even tackled the back yet--that's for tomorrow. Is there a trick? I'd hate to break the darn things.

I haven't tried to take the cover off our Monterey, but the plastic things sound like the ones on the Radian. If so, I just grab fabric all around them and pull, and they pop out of their holes. The first time it felt like I was going to break something, but it didn't.

Thanks! Holy crap, those were hard to get out. Some I was able to pull out by grabbing the cover and pulling, but others I actually had to use pliers because I thought the fabric would rip. Perhaps the manual was just joking when it said the cover could be removed and hand washed.
