That's a new one I heard the other day...that it's just a piddle pad so you don't have to wash the whole cover in case the diaper leaks. :thumbsdown:
Really, just in case you're wondering... it's a pad for newborns up to 11 pounds so they fit the harness better...it MUST be removed at 11 pounds. Sigh...too bad no one reads the manual (you should see all the smallish 6 month olds who are 'growing out of their Key Fit' because of that pad being left in. Sheesh!)
