Question 36" tall, 29 lb, 25 mo, spare seat?

DS1 is 36" tall, 29 lb in just a diaper, and 25 mo old. He is currently rf in a MA on the 2nd slot. BTW, how much do I estimate for the weight of shoes and clothes? I'm hoping to keep him rf as long as possible and was hopeful that he'd not hit 33 lb (my MA limit) until D was tall enough to switch seats with him. D is in a TF.
I need to get a spare seat for DH's car. T has been in DH's car less than 10 times in his life, so it doesn't need to be a super seat. Functional and safe. And affordable. The MA is easy enough to install in both of our cars that it can be easily moved. The TF was a beast to install in my car and I don't want to move it. Ever.
Will the Scenera work? I went to BRU and Target yesterday and neither had the Scenera for me to try. I ordered a $35 one at sears.com, so I'm hoping it will work for a while at least.

The scenera sounds like a great choice  That way, you can keep him rf to 35lbs. and then turn him till he hits 40lbs.

I agree the scenera seems like a good fit, I used to have one and was happy with it we used it til DD2 outgrew it height wise ff at 4yrs old.

I think the scenera is perfect... and when he hands it down to his sister, get a Nautilus for the other seat.

(long term... when he outgrows the Nautilus... if you didn't get a girly truefit, just switch them seats... OR... put the Marathon in your dh's car for your daughter at that point and buy another Nautilus or a Frontier)
