Another car seat check question

What do you do differently at a car seat check when you have two of the same car seats in the car? I'm specifically thinking of parents of twins or higher order multiples who often end up buying infant seats and convertible seats in sets.

I assume that you still need to take the car seat out to check the DOM and to check the car seat itself. Do you have the parents install both seats?

Erg. I just replied, but then my computer messed up. So if there are four replies from me, that's why!

Anyway, yes, the parents install ALL seats, and good technicians will check all the seats.

Two seats could have different DOMs, meaning that one might be recalled, whereas another isn't. One could have a defect, or the parents could have routed the harness incorrectly. Even multiples might be different heights, so the seats might need to be adjusted differently.
