Vivo width?

How is the width of the Vivo in comparison to the Parkway (or other slimmer boosters). Since the Parkway and FPSVB are discontinued, what are the other options for slimmer carseats for a 3-across situation?

When we have another baby (probably about a year) we'll need to be able to fit three across in DH's passat which is our second vehicle. DS1 will be 5.5 by then and I'm okay with him in a booster in the secondary car. Is it worth it to try and get my hands on a parkway now? I've been eyeing the Vivo because I'm curious about the dimensions. Anyone know?

The widest part, at the arms measured 16.5-17 inches when I measured mine a few days ago. I love love love my Vivo, but I'm not sure I'd love it for a 3 across.
