Embroider car seat cover?

Well, many people have sewn patches onto carseat covers. Is embroidering really that different?

I haven't see patches, I've seen a Husky with flowers. I know someone with an embroidery machine and I was thinking of her embroidering our Brownstone Parkway or our Colonial SRC. :p

I've seen someone on here (forget who) that put dog patches on a Nautilus, and Kat put princess patches on her Nautilus.

Would the tightness of the embroidering pull the cover so the harness slots don't align correctly? I imagine not. But.... I don't see anything wrong with it.

I little thread isn't going to make a difference. Coming from a firefighter, married to a firefighter, that likes to play with fire.

Agreed. If flames are close enough to catch some thread/patches on fire, they'll likely ignite the kid's hair/clothes, too. Embroidery would be the least of your problems.

I was told that embroidering the covers was Britax-approved (but I forget where I heard it.)

This is my DD's Husky, hand-embroidered:

I'll warn you - it took a long freaking time! Partly because I kept putting it off, but if I had to guess I'd say there's at least 40 hours of work put into that cover.

I'm not sure how much machine-embroidering costs, but it's definitely a lot faster!

You did that by hand? Kudos to you. I did cross stitch 14yrs ago and that was long. GREAT JOB!

I was going to have it done by machine.

That's me! Here are some pics of them. I also embroidered my Husky cover, here are pics of that.

With all the cute covers available on the Marathon, I can't stand my other covers to be boring! Although I really like the pink of the Frontier so I don't think I am going to mess with that one.

If you decide to do anything, you should definitely show off your work!
