I'm about ready to throw my Regent out the window!

Why is it so hard to adjust? Why? Why? WHY???

I've read that it's due to the cold and well, it is a bit cold. We're heading into a week of negative temps. Dd cannot tighten the harness on her own anymore. And when I tighten it, I have to hold the seat back, or I yank so hard that I screw up my install. And she's in the 3rd row. See my problem? Is there a solution?

So, are all of the big Britaxes like this, I'm specifically thinking Frontier? If it's smoother to adjust, I may be ditching the Regent. :( Unless, I can convince dh that we need to move down South until the children outgrow their harnesses.

I'm in Northern MN, so I feel your pain (highs aren't getting out of the negs for us either :() With my dd's, I have to reach behind it and sort of pull on it. USUALLY, once it is 'set', I don't have to adjust it, but b/c our weather has been on a roller coaster (fleece, no fleece, fleece, no fleece), our adjustor has been getting a workout. It DOES help if the car is really warmed up on the inside.

Frontier is smoooooooooth (though I'll take it out this week in our 12 degree night and test it for you, if you want :D)

I don't have a Regent, but the Frontier is a very easy adjustment compared to my Decathlon!

I have no problems with mine, but maybe that is because I live in a warmer state. However, this morning it was freezing out (ice on my van lol) and her seat still adjusted smoothly.
