Country of origin?

Does anyone have a list of where seats are made/assembled?

I thought Britax was one of the rare USA made ones. I think some parts come from Mexico?

I'm especially curious about the EFTA and the Radian.

the Radian and Monterey are in made in China. Same for Recaro convertibles.

Evenflo does have some US manufacturing facilities, but I'm not sure about the EFTA specifically.

Dorel and Graco also have some US plants.

Bah so you have to try and figure out each individual Graco or Dorel seat? That's annoying!

I haven't had luck locating a list with country of origin either but am assuming if it doesn't say it's China. I'm due mid-June and would like to buy Britax infant seat because it's made/assembled in the USA. I understand the current offering, Champion, is discontinued and am not sure if the replacement, Chaperone, will be out in time. If I can't get a Britax I'm interested in buying something made in Italy or another country with fair wages, practices. But I need to do more research because, in my cursory surfing, I understand folks aren't thrilled with either the Peg Perego or Primo Viaggio. I did see that the pricey Tuetonia's are made in China (for some reason I thought they'd be German!)

Teutonias are actually made by Graco (they are SS1/SR32 clones). If they're made in China, there's a good chance the SR32 is as well.
