Who wants to play musical carseats with me?

Can you believe that I have less then 3 months and I still haven't bought a carseat for this baby:eek: I know, but I'm feeling stressed because I'm going to have to buy more then one I'm pretty sure.

So, right now I have a husky, b505, efta, tb, and a chicco aritsan which is a european infant seat with no base. I have a cover for a ss1, so I'll probably have to buy an actual seat but I'm still not positive.

My main issue is dh's car, its a 99 mistusbishi mirage 4dr. Right now in there I have the efta and tb but there's no way I can fit another seat in there so the efta will have to go somewhere else. Plus there's no shoulder belt in the middle which is a pita. I was thinking about putting the artisan in the middle and just leaving it in there for the baby put then what do I get for Peyton to ride in?

Oh, and the kids are 6.5yo 57ish lbs, 3yo 38lbs with a gigantic torso, and the baby will be here in march and I do tend towards large babies.

What about a Nautilus for the Mirage? Is the Artisan slim? If so, it might work. The EFTA is just massively wide. What about a narrower booster? The TB and the B505 are both pretty wide. Maybe a Radian in the Mirage would work, with the infant seat in the middle and the booster outboard. Are you not wanting the PV anymore?

I'm not sure about the pv at the moment. I still really like it and it fits great in the van, I just don't like how it installs baseless. And I do have the ss1 cover:dizzy:

The artisan is very slim, its actually the seat in my avatar if you can look past the giant cat:eek: Hypothetically, I could just use the artisan in dh and mom's car and use the efta in the van and not buy another infant seat. But then I have this ss1 cover that I just bought and no seat to put it on:rolleyes:

I know realistically that I need to go to bru and try out seats in dh's car since anything will fit in the van but I just really hate driving his car. How can I be expected to drive 30 miles to bru in a car without cruise control and not get a ticket:whistle:

I would hate to see a SS cover go to waste... Besides, what fun is not buying an infant seat? NONE. :D If the artisan is slim enough, I think it could work with a booster and a harnessed seat.
