What do you think of this advice I gave on craigslist?

Someone on my local craigslist asked a question of what to do with her car seat that was broken and expired. She said she didn't want anyone picking it up for their children. I told her to remove the cover, and that she could sell just the cover if there was nothing wrong with it. And then I told her to remove the harness straps and cut them up and place them in her garbage can. Then I told her to dismantle the seat in any way she could. Break it into pieces. And I also told her to email me with any questions she may have. What do you think?

Ok, Thanks! Im glad that this woman was actually looking for help so no one else's child got hurt from it. If only more people would think about this before they just tossed their old expired/broken seats out to the curb.
