Keyfit 30 vs SS1

How much longer/taller is the shell on the SS1? I'm wondering by height how much longer the SS1 would last a child.

Ilana would've only made it to about 12 mos in the KF (20.5#). She moved out of the SS1 at 16 mos (21#), but could've stayed till 18 mos as she didn't really gain any torso height in that time (23#). She was under the 32" limit when she had to move out.
