Booster advice wanted

My son is 6, and recently rode in a booster for the first time (it was a pink Combi :D). He did really well at sitting correctly and not being rambunctious.
I have been looking for a booster to use on those very rare occasions we ride with someone else. He presently rides in a GN and a Husky.

He is 39 lbs., 44 inches tall, and skinny. I want something that is safe, easy to use, and if possible LATCH would be nice. My other concern is to get something that will not damage the seats of people's cars. His GN is pretty rough on mine (it is the first seat I have used with a thin towel under it) and I don't wish to use it as a booster in someone else's vehicle.

I have been unable to locate a Jane Indy at all anymore, and the Oobr isn't out yet. I think the other choices are the GN, Frontier, and Monterey. Is there any that I missed? I did read some reviews, and currently am leaning towards the Monterey, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything and get some feedback.

Thanks in advance,
Amie

especially with him being a slimmer booster rider, I'd just get a graco turbobooster or recaro Vivo/vivo lite.... those will fit the best.

I just received my Monterey and really love it! But, it is pretty heavy and bulky so not something I'd really want to be moving around all the time. If you can find a Parkway they fit smaller kids really well. I like the Monterey but think the PW is a better fit for my dd. Otherwise I do agree with Kat that the Turbo is a good fit for smaller kids and it's lightweight.

Thank you both for your replies. I didn't realize the Monterey was that heavy, that is something good to know.

I have a Turbobooster I can use for now, I bought it for my nephew to use when he rode with us, and it has only been used a few times. In the mean time I will keep my eyes open for a Parkway.

Thanks again,
Amie

The Monterey is not 100 lbs or anything but it is a much heavier seat than the Turbo or the PW. I like it! It's really nice but if you have a turbo, I'd use that .
